Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau is committed to respecting the personal privacy of individuals who visit our Web site. This page summarizes our privacy policy and practices of our web site.

Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau does not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or street address during your visit to its Web sites. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail, or registering in a secure portion of the site.

All personal information you do provide is protected under the federal Privacy Act of Canada and other related jurisdictions. This means that, at the point of collection, you will be informed that your personal information is being collected, the purpose for which it is being collected and that you have a right of access to the information upon request.

Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau personnel who need the information to process your request such as signing up for services. The information you give us will be shared ONLY for the purposes of processing your order with such financial institutions as are appropriate to your request. We do not use the information to create individual profiles, nor do we disclose the information to anyone outside those who need to facilitate your request and ONLY in all cases with organizations who comply with similar Privacy Act guidelines.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

The aim of the Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau is to assist all Brethren, Masonic families and qualifying non-masons (“Client”) with a variety of medical equipment 'free of charge' on a short or long term 'loan' basis. We also include providing communication assistance to a sojourner's family who find themselves in distressed circumstances. An objective is to attend hospitalized sojourners to provide comfort and assistance.

 

2. SERVICE USAGE

A. Legal Parameters: These services may be used only for lawful purposes and the usage of the service in connection with or adjunct to any matter or thing which violates any foreign, municipal, provincial, state, county or federal statute or regulation is prohibited. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau from and against any and all claims, actions, causes of actions, administrative or government action, losses or damages (including legal fees and expenses) arising from the usage of any services by the Client.

B. Unilateral Service Revocation: In the event that Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau, at any time, believes that the service is being used by the Clients in contravention of the terms and provisions of this agreement, Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau may, at its sole discretion, immediately discontinue such service to Client without liability.

 

3. NO WARRANTIES

With respect to any all products and/or services provided by Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau ("SERVICES"), the Client acknowledges and agrees that Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau makes absolutely no warranties whatsoever, express or implied, including warranty of merchantability or fitness, uptime, and operation and/or use of and SERVICES for any particular purposes. As a result, the Client agrees that Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau shall not be liable to the Client for any claims, damages or compensations which may be suffered by the Client, including, but not limited to, losses or damages of any and every nature, resulting from the use of the services or inability to access any SERVICES, caused by, or resulting from, delays, non-deliveries, or service interruptions whether or not caused by the fault or negligence of Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau. The Client hereby agrees to indemnity and hold harmless Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau from any and all claims of whatever nature brought by any of its Clients or Client’s Clients against Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau.

 

4. ENTIRE AGREEMENT AND SEVERABILITY

This instrument constitutes the entire agreement between Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau and the Client and represents the complete and entire understanding of the parties with respect to the subject matter of this agreement. This instrument supersedes any other agreement or understanding between Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau and the Client, whether written, electronic or oral. In the event that any term or provision of this instrument is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, then the remaining provisions of this instrument and the agreement, which it evidences, shall remain in full force and effect.

 

REFUND POLICY

As the aim of the Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau Donation Page is not for any product or service supplied or implied by the Vancouver Masonic Service Bureau there is no expected or implied refund policy associated with this page.
